✈️ Yorkseed Passport Series: AI Salon – Meet the Future of Finance

📍June 13 · Paris, France 🇫🇷
🚀 Powered by: Calstudio
🌐 Partners: Flowgenn · Bitwage

On June 13 in Paris, we brought the Yorkseed magic back to life with an intimate and electrifying edition of our Yorkseed Passport Series: Viva Tech Edition — this time focused on the intersection of AI and the future of finance.

Together, we unpacked the rise of autonomous agents, AI-driven workflows, synthetic labor, and how financial systems are being rewritten — not just upgraded.

🔥 Fireside Panel: Founders & Funders Shaping the New Financial Stack

Our Lightning Salon format brought high-density, no-fluff insights from a powerhouse lineup of thought leaders:

  • Carson Tavares – Co-Founder & Chief Business Officer, Flowgenn
Carson’s experience spans capital markets, M&A, and treasury strategy. He’s now building AI agents that help investment banks make faster, smarter decisions — automating workflows that once required weeks of human input.

  • Andrew Melville – Managing Director, Europe, Mission Control AI
A leader in synthetic labor and agentic AI, Andrew shared how his company is deploying AI swarms for commercial and government clients — creating scalable, decision-making systems that mimic distributed intelligence.

  • Terrence Hooi – Co-Founder & CEO, Singular Global
A hedge fund veteran turned crypto entrepreneur, Terrence shared lessons from building Singular DEX, a decentralized exchange with $1.5B in liquidity, backed by global names like Visa, Cardano, and Julius Baer.

  • Roy Chung – Co-Founder & CEO, Tricoté
Based between Asia and Europe, Roy discussed building trust-centric, AI-powered Web3 infrastructure that makes regulation usable and scalable — an essential theme in the age of programmable finance.

  • Antoine Morin – Trader, BNP Paribas
From the trading floor, Antoine brought deep insight into how AI is transforming execution workflows, client interfacing, and multi-asset strategies — showing how incumbents are adapting to intelligence-driven finance.

💡 A Room Full of Curiosity, Candor, and Connection

The conversation didn’t stay on stage — it came alive in the room.

Attendees from a wide range of sectors — from fintech founders and institutional investors to students, ecosystem builders, and AI operators — leaned in, asked sharp questions, and brought fresh angles to the table.

From regulatory implications and bias in AI systems, to the infrastructure bottlenecks behind deploying agentic models in real-world finance — the Q&A was full of energy, curiosity, and constructive challenge.

One audience member asked:
“If AI is replacing workflows, what role is left for human intuition in finance?”
That one sparked a passionate exchange about trust, edge cases, and the limits of automation — a perfect example of the critical conversations Yorkseed exists to spark.

More than just a panel, the salon felt like a living think tank — a space where learning, debate, and future-shaping collide.

🌍 Powered by Visionary Partners

It truly felt like a miracle — and none of it would’ve been possible without the incredible support of Calstudio, who powered this edition of the Yorkseed Passport Series.

Calstudio helps turn AI ideas into income, and they helped Yorkseed do what we do best: bring global innovation communities together, one hub at a time. ✨

We’re also incredibly grateful to our event partners:

  • Flowgenn
“Workflow Intelligence: Automating Decision-Making in Financial Ops”
Building intelligent systems that help financial institutions run smarter and faster.

  • Bitwage
“Borderless Payroll Meets AI: Financial Access for the Global Workforce”
A global payroll and payments platform using stablecoins to reduce cross-border fees by 80% and enable instant remote team payouts.

🌙 We closed the weekend with Midnight in Paris, our VivaTech closing party — a celebration of global founders, operators, and investors building the future.

🌙 Midnight in Paris: The Grand Finale of Yorkseed’s Passport Series – VivaTech Edition

📍June 14 · Paris, France 🇫🇷
🚀 Powered by: Calstudio

As the lights dimmed on another unforgettable VivaTech, Yorkseed brought the global venture community together one last time — with “Midnight in Paris,” the grand finale of our Passport Series: VivaTech Edition.

Set in the heart of Paris, this wasn’t just an afterparty — it was a curated late-night gathering of founders, funders, and operators from around the world, all brought together to toast to bold ideas, global connections, and the future we’re building — together.

With warm candlelight, flowing conversation, and intentional energy, Midnight in Paris became a space where real relationships formed and late-night reflections sparked new collaborations.

✨ A Toast to Global Innovation

After a week filled with product launches, bold pitches, and next-gen tech at VivaTech, this evening felt like the soul of the summit — unhurried, human, and high-trust.

Guests included:

  • Rising founders from the U.S., Europe, MENA, and APAC

  • Global VCs and fund managers seeking cross-border collaboration

  • Operators and ecosystem builders eager to share playbooks and vision

As the music played and champagne flowed, conversations stretched long past midnight and the bold futures we all feel compelled to build.

This evening felt like a miracle — and we couldn’t have done it without them.

What VCs Want But No One Teaches
🗓️ Part of the Yorkseed Expert Series

Most Founders start their journey with a pitch deck, a prototype, and a lot of pressure to grow but little clarity on how to gain customers, validate their messaging, or build traction that impresses VCs. We’ll break down what most miss: the real-world marketing insights every startup needs to attract their ideal customer, avoid wasted spend, and stand out in a crowded, noisy market.

Walk away with the tactical understanding needed to attract users, generate revenue, and satisfy investor expectations instead of relying on trial-and-error or burning through capital.
