Two weeks ago, Yorkseed had the privilege of joining the AI Global Leadership Summit at the New York Stock Exchange, hosted by the NYC Office of Technology & Innovation, Supermomos, and the Mayor’s Office for International Affairs.

It was a room filled with thoughtful energy—leaders across government, business, and academia came together to tackle one big question: How do we build an AI future that’s both innovative and inclusive?

Hearing from public sector leaders like Dilip Chauhan, Edward Mermelstein, and Aissata M.B. Camara reminded us just how vital public-private collaboration is when shaping what’s next. Their words struck a chord with our Yorkseed mission—to back purposeful founders building solutions that serve humanity, not just headlines.

As we continue supporting startups in AI, climate tech, health tech, and beyond, we left the Summit feeling more energized than ever to contribute to NYC’s evolving innovation story—and to keep forging global connections that matter.

We’re kicking off NYC FinTech Week with a rooftop gathering that’s all about community, connection, and real conversations. Whether you're building in fintech, health tech, climate, AI, consumer, or beyond—this evening is for founders and funders shaping what’s next.

Fresh air. Big ideas. Founders in motion.
Let’s roll.

Bonus: After the event, we’ll share a LinkedIn list of attendees with everyone who registered—so you can keep the connections going.

Have you seen our color coded Yorkseed FinTech Week Spreadsheet yet? We covered all ecosystem events from April 21st till April 28th.

Hey Mate! Are you in London 🇬🇧? Join us on 🗓 Tuesday, April 15th from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM for a relaxed and casual evening of networking and connecting with founders, investors, and innovators in London’s thriving startup scene.

As we look ahead to London Tech Week, this meetup is all about building authentic relationships in a laid-back setting. Whether you're looking to share insights, explore potential partnerships, or simply meet like-minded people, this is the perfect chance to do so.

Paris, you showed up. 🇫🇷 With less than 24 hours to pull it together, Yorkseed x Club Y – hosted “Building Strong Startups: Navigating the Highs and Lows of Entrepreneurship” on the sunny terrace of L'Amphi Quai de Seine—and it turned into something truly special.

We talked openly about the real side of entrepreneurship: mental health, burnout, pressure, and purpose. No fluff—just honest conversations and meaningful connections.

The energy? Unmatched. New ideas sparked, perspectives shifted, and we left reminded that strong startups are built on both resilience and vulnerability.

What does a local hub volunteer / co-organizer do?

  • Run a YorkseedTM event once a month. It must be Founders + Investors + Tech Executives focus. I am open to all sort of events from happy hours to panels, or even demo nights. To make it easier, it can be a co-branded event with another company.

  • Collect mailing list, YorkseedTM database building from all the attendees. Partnership, investor or collaboration opportunities for YS.

  • Feed me any local events you know will be coming up in the local city, and I will include them the newsletter.

The perks of being a local hub volunteer? You are exposed to high-level individuals, and infinite opportunities will come your way!
