As 2024 ended last ween and entered 2025, we want to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve had together and express our deepest gratitude for your support and enthusiasm. Yorkseed has grown beyond our wildest dreams, and none of this would be possible without each of you.

2024 Highlights

📈 Newsletter Milestones
Our newsletter has reached 177,000 impressions this year, with a 50% growth in readership. Your engagement inspires us to continue delivering value-packed insights and updates.

🎓 Hybrid Yorkseed Expert Sessions
This year, we introduced a hybrid Yorkseed Expert Session series, hosting 6 impactful events designed to connect and educate our global community.

🌍 Yorkseed Passport Series
Launched in 2024, the Yorkseed Passport Series took us to four global conferences across three countries:

  • SXSW Austin: 5 events

  • New York Tech Week: 2 events

  • SXSW Sydney: 1 event

  • Lisbon Web Summit: 6 events

Each event was a testament to the power of collaboration and innovation, with founders and investors building meaningful connections.

🏢 Yorkseed Venture Summit
This summer, we hosted our inaugural Venture Summits:

  • New York City during New York Tech Week

  • Toronto during Collision Conference

These gatherings provided a platform for founders and investors to connect and take their ventures to the next level.

📍 Expanding Yorkseed Hubs
In 2024, Yorkseed hosted events worldwide:

  • New York City: 20 events

  • Paris: 7 events

  • Austin: 6 events

  • Lisbon: 6 events

  • London & Sydney: 2 events each

We launched new city hubs in Zurich and São Paulo and are thrilled to announce the launch of our Milan Hub in January 2025. Looking ahead, we’re targeting expansions in CDMX, Tel Aviv, Dublin, Amsterdam, South Africa, Boston, Chicago, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, and more.

📱 Yorkseed Public Channel
This year, we introduced the Yorkseed Public Channel on WhatsApp, offering an open and unrestricted way for everyone to stay connected.

🤝 Community Partnerships
Yorkseed proudly partnered with 15 major conferences and events in Barcelona, London, Paris, NYC, and San Francisco.

A Look Ahead: 2025

January kicks off with three major conferences:

In Q1 2025, we’re thrilled to partner with the Asian Financial Forum (Hong Kong) and GLOBAL Sales Tech Festival 2024 (Barcelona), offering special complimentary tickets for Yorkseed members.

Evolving into a Venture Travel Passport

Yorkseed has transformed into a Venture Travel Passport for founders and investors. We’ve gone viral at global events like Lisbon Web Summit and Austin SXSW, and today, no matter where you go, you’re likely to find a fellow Yorkseeder nearby.

Our mission remains the same: to create a world where connections, ideas, and opportunities are just a conversation away.

Our WhatsApp Global hubs are where I will be strictly sharing special events that are happening around the local city related to Founders + Investors + Tech Executives focus only.

Our WhatsApp Conference Groups are for conferences goers to share invites, arrange meetups and set meetings specifically for Founders + Investors + Tech Executives focus only. We also provide a spreadsheet of non-badge holder master side event list for all conference goers! We believe everyone should have access to all the top notch side events without paying a premium price!

Looking for volunteers to run some of these hubs. Paris, New York City, Austin | San Antonio, Miami, D.C., Los Angeles, Bay Area, Hong Kong, Lisbon, Sydney, Munich, Berlin, Helsinki, London, Singapore, São Paulo, Buenos Aires | Rio, Toronto, Montreal, Dubai, Zurich, Milan, Global Hub (International). Some people already interested in some of them, though I do need more! If you are from a city that is not on the list and are interested in creating a local hub, please reach out to me!

What does a local hub volunteer / co-organizer do?

  • Run a YorkseedTM event once a month. It must be Founders + Investors + Tech Executives focus. I am open to all sort of events from happy hours to panels, or even demo nights. To make it easier, it can be a co-branded event with another company.

  • Collect mailing list, YorkseedTM database building from all the attendees. Partnership, investor or collaboration opportunities for YS.

  • Feed me any local events you know will be coming up in the local city, and I will include them the newsletter.

The perks of being a local hub volunteer? You are exposed to high-level individuals, and infinite opportunities will come your way!
